Touching Ministries

Hello! My name is Hosea Randria. I am currently the associate pastor for the Young Adults group at Grace Community Church. I am married to Cheyenne Randianarivony since 2016, and together we have 2 living sons, Ammi, and Gabriel Randrianarivony. We also have a baby named Perfect who is with Jesus right now and praise God that He has trusted us with another baby which is on the way and will be due on May 14, 2023. 

God has called my wife and I to go to Madagascar and serve the people on the island. Over the years, He has confirmed and put more vision and hunger in our hearts on how to serve His flock in Madagascar. Right now, I feel He has given more instructions and clarity on starting the ministry and what He wants us to do there. 

THE DREAM is to be able to go serve and love the Malagasy people with AGAPE love and show them that God loves them. Finding jobs in Madagascar is complex due to a lot of corruption and people who do not have an education or the knowledge of what is required from them. Most people never have any proper professional training and it makes finding jobs so hard. After Living there for 24 years and being back and forth for 6, I feel like God has finally given me a clear vision of how He wants us to bring the gospel to Madagascar. 

THE VISION is to have a life center building in one of the cities of Madagascar. In the life center, we will have a House of prayer, Classrooms, conference rooms, and Basketball courts. 

     – The house of prayer will be open to people who want to seek God’s face in worship and prayer. 

     – The classrooms will be used to teach kids or adults whatever they need to learn, schooling, or work-related stuff, and also could be used to teach doctrinal training. 

     – Conference rooms could be rented for people who need space to have their meetings or any private training they have. 

     – The Basketball courts will be used to play basketball, Volleyball, and other sports and could also be used as an outreach place. We can use the entire place to run all kinds of camps to help people and draw them to Jesus. The facility could be turned into a big room for large gatherings also, like a pastor’s Conference like pastor Gary and I have been doing in Madagascar.

Additionally, my wife Cheyenne, being a midwife would like to have a birthing center where she can practice midwifery to help pregnant ladies and newborn babies. Also, we plan to have a maternity home to care for whoever needs it. Cheyenne also would love to be able to teach young people who want to become midwives in Madagascar. We think this is going to become a great help for the entire country because on average, there are still around 10 ladies who die from childbirth every day.

WHY NOT START A CHURCH? 

I think that our ministry is going to bring a lot of reconciliation to the churches of Madagascar. God is calling us to bring unity back, and I don’t think, starting a church would be the way to go. I will be making myself available to all churches in Madagascar and will be involved in their churches, bringing all of my training and knowledge to equip the churches. I will even serve as a pastor in any of the churches to help them bring new perspectives and new ways of serving. 

I see 5 or 6 churches becoming one and serving God together, but it won’t happen if I start my own church. 

NEXT STEPS? 

– Obviously, we have been praying that God will give us grace and help us accomplish His perfect will through our lives. 

– We have been also been praying for partners to come along and help us because we won’t be doing it by ourselves. 

– Organizing a trip to Madagascar so that people can come and see all of the great needs that the Island has. 

– Being open to new perspectives or ideas of what God put in others’ hearts on how to serve as they also travel in Madagascar. 

– Creating a Website. 

WHO CAN COME? 

– Anyone who is been called by God and is ready to go bring His good news to the people on the Island. 

– People who feel called by God to overseas mission work but don’t really know where to go yet. It could be Madagascar. 

– Anyone who is hungry to fulfill the Great Commission. 

WHERE ARE WE NOW? 

– Waiting on God to open a door for us financially. 

– Praying for 10 acres of land to buy and build all of these crazy dreams that God has given us. 

– God has given us a vehicle in Madagascar, and we are now, praying for all of the rest of the things to come along. 

– Creating a website for our Touching Ministries Madagascar vision

– We already have a tax-deductible bank account

– We have a Facebook page called Touching Ministries

– We have a few local people that have been working with us in Madagascar while being here in the USA

This is what God has been working on in our lives, and we both believe that God has been and still getting us ready for this ministry. We feel ready to be sent by God and love on His People.
